Comeau’s Sea Foods takes pride in producing fine smoked fish products that demonstrate our commitment to value, quality and reliability.
Absolutely no chemicals are used in the ‘smoking’ process. All smoking and drying activities take place in Comeau’s Sea Foods’ own modern facility in Saulnierville, Nova Scotia. Smoke and moisture content are easily adjusted for custom products in your specific market.
Modern automated wood smokers, skilled technicians and nearly 30 years of experience combine to produce products with the traditional smoke and flavour preferred by our customers.
Only the freshest of fish is accepted by our processing facilities. Fresh Atlantic salmon is purchased from local and international aquaculture producers, ground fish is purchased domestically and internationally, and pelagics – herring (kippers) and mackerel (fillets) – are acquired from Comeau’s Sea Foods’ own fleet, or purchased domestically and internationally.
Comeau’s Sea Foods fillets and whole fish products include:
• Smoked haddock, finnan haddie, cod, pollock – skin-on, skinless, bone-in, boneless, back bone partially removed
• Smoked salmon
• Smoked mackerel
• Smoked herring kippers
Bulk and flexible retail packing choices are available, ranging from 75g and 150g, to 1kg bags.
